Bob Sloan
Mr. Sloan represents the Forestry Committee of the Association of Illinois Soil and Water Conservation Districts (AISWCD) on the Council. Bob was born and raised in Edgar County. He is a lifetime farmer and retired from manufacturing in 1987. Bob presently serves as a manufacturing consultant and has been a certified Tree Farmer for many years. He also serves on the Marshall-Putnam County Soil and Water Conservation District Board (Vice Chair), the Marshall County Habitat for Humanity Board, the Prairie Rivers RC&D Board, the Illinois Walnut Council Board, and the Sun Foundation for the Advancement of the Environmental Sciences and Art. He is co-author of the Illinois Direct Seeding Handbook.
